Kumo-study.com respects your privacy. Below is a concise summary of what we collect, how we use it, and how long it is retained.

What we collect

Kumo doesn't have user accounts, so there's no registration, no login, and no personal profile data to speak of. What is collected is limited to:

• Usage and request metadata: request timestamps, user agent, referrer, and other non-personal request information used to operate and debug the service.
• Hosting provider logs: the hosting provider may log request IP addresses and other request metadata. These logs are maintained by the provider; Kumo does not persist raw IP addresses on its own servers.
• Anything you send directly, like an email if you contact the site owner.

Rate limiting and IP addresses

We use ephemeral rate limiting that may track request origin by IP address only temporarily (in memory or short-lived cache) to protect the service from abuse. These IP-based counters are not stored long-term and are cleared regularly.

How we use your data

• To serve and download files you request from the archive.
• To maintain site stability, diagnose issues, and enforce abuse protections (including ephemeral rate limiting and blocking bulk scraping).
• We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Retention and sharing

Hosting provider logs (including IPs) are subject to the provider's retention policies. We only share data with third parties when required to comply with law, or with your consent.
